  • Jacques started as boy with racing pigeons, but his father let him study first
  • became a famous pigeon fancier, champion and famous author in the pigeon sport
  • during WWII, Jacques was able to keep his pigeons in order that from the liberation in September 1944 he had a big advantage
  • 80 to 90% of the sold pigeons went to the Netherlands
  • son Edmond Tournier (youngest of 9 children) took over the pigeons in the seventies
  • after 2008: sale of all pigeons and the complete archive to China
