• Delbar corresponds to three generations of pigeon racing
• Maurice Delbar started at the age of 10 with the pigeon sport following his father Oscar
• from 1960 Maurice got help from his son Mick who succeeded him
• the family had a textile dye above they built the irst pigeon lofts
• Piet de Weerd regularly visited Delbar
• during WWII the occupier came to pick up all the pigeons, but by miracle a number of females were found after the armistice
