Descheemaecker

  • their first pigeon loft was built on the roof of their father’s printing house in 1927
  • the brothers released their first pigeon magazine in 1930, today the Descheemaecker Pigeon Center still publishes “Duifke Lacht” and “Pigeon Rit”
  • in 1936 a pigeon feed factory (Natural Grains) was established
  • in 1955 the Descheemaecker Pigeon Center was established to house breeding pigeons of well-known strains and to give all pigeon-fanciers the opportunity to purchase pigeons from these strains
  • in the late 1950s the brothers brought pigeon clocks to the market
  • after 60 years of experience in breeding pigeons, ELITE by Descheemaecker was introduced in 2014
